| About Acuto Productions and It’s Creators. |
| Acuto Productions is a co-owned and operated video production studio that has been in operation since November of 2002. After attending a summer business camp we became very enthusiastic about starting our own business. When we started brainstorming, we realized that we both had an intense love for technology and a passion for video production. We put two and two together and decided that we would start a video production studio that used cutting edge technology. We wanted to offer quality services for a reasonable price. After doing research into our local competitors, we designed a service and pricing list that fit both of these requirements When we started Acuto Productions we were still very young (16 and 18 years old). We knew that this would be our toughest task, getting customers to hire young professionals to do their jobs. We started marketing our services within our high school and before we knew it we had multiple customers. Through word of mouth we picked up more and more business and during the following summer we were hired by the Business Horizons summer camp to film and edit their week-in-review video. We received so much positive feedback and exposure from Business Horizons that our business picked up 10 fold! We started filming weddings all over Iowa and in parts of Colorado and Florida that summer and continued into the fall. Since that summer we have been busy full time with numerous different projects. We have done multiple weddings, and memory slideshows as well as many other unique projects. Every year we make an effort to give back to our community through donating our services to local organizations such as: Relay for Life, All Strings Attached Community Orchestra, and the Carroll Community School District. Donating our services is one of the most rewarding parts of owing our own business. It is great to be able to give back to our community by sharing our talents to help contribute to organizations that have had a huge impact in our lives. Acuto Productions will be relocating to Fort Collins, Colorado in the fall of 2005. We plan to continue our business and are looking into expanding into the field of web page production as well as a few other areas of interest. Although we will be relocating to Colorado our business roots will always remain in Iowa and we will continue our strong connections to those who have helped us grow into what we are today.
